Primary After-School Club Testimonials

Hi Jo,

Isaac loves your classes! His grandma is an amazing cook and she pays for him to do the classes and he face times her as soon as he gets home on a Monday and tells her all about what he’s made and she watches him put it in or get it out of the oven afterwards on our ipad! You’ve also managed to make him a lot more adventurous about what he’ll eat, so thank you very much for that! We’ll be booking on again! :-)

Many thanks, Catherine (parent), Oct ‘22

My little boy would love to do cooking with you just like his older sister did at Brookburn a couple of years ago.

Hi Jo, The girls loved the pasta and raved about all the veg that went into it - even though they usually pick out all leeks when I cook them!

Thank you!

Primary Curriculum Enrichment Testimonials

“Hi Jo

Thank you vey much for today the children thoroughly enjoyed your session and especially getting to eat the biscuits this afternoon.

The session was very creative and inspiring, great that it linked to our current topic of ‘Under the Sea’ and planned and delivered at their level. It was well organised and just the right amount of time to match their concentration and focus levels. It was differentiated by outcome so some of the children were able to display their creativity and skills whilst others were happy with producing just an end product.

Resources were great and you had everything you needed.

The children's feedback was that it was awesome and would love to do it again.

Thanks again”

Katy (KS1 teacher, Norris Bank Junior School, Stockport)

“Hello Jo. I just wanted to say thank you for coming in to Cale Green School to help us round off our Greek topic with an interesting and enjoyable cookery class.

The children thoroughly enjoyed being active hands-on participants and many have been asking when you will be coming back.

The recipe for Greek Quesadilla and Tzatziki that you chose were spot on and it was great that so many children tried new foods so willingly because they had made them themselves.

Many Thanks, Mrs Harding”

“Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.”
